Sharing a little nugget from our Rural Change Maker program session last night. Work to create same size circles in communication with others. Ask What and How questions rather than why. Do you know what level you listen at? At a 1 we might be asking ourselves questions as the person is speaking or thinking about our next speaking point or impatient with our turn to speak. Level 2 we are listening deeply and our own thoughts and questions are quiet. Level 3 we are listening both deeply and with intuition for the things unsaid. We did an exercise that was quite interesting to see how we each were listening. Not surprisingly most of us were listening at a level 1. Something to strive for – Level 3
