The Young Rural Resilient Project is a movement to gain a deeper understanding of where rural youth are at since the Pandemic. The past few years have been difficult for many young people, but especially so for rural youth. We have learned much from our Rural Change Makers and discovered the needs of our young people have been profoundly impacted by the Pandemic, particularly youth in rural and remote regions, Indigenous youth and youth with barriers who face uniquely different experiences, opportunities and challenges. This project aims to help us understand what matters to you and the rural Ontario community you call home. How you and your community have changed, are impacted by recent events and what you need to build belonging, inclusion, understanding, change and opportunity in your communities.
