Born and raised in Northern Manitoba, a remote and rugged place. I quickly learned the importance of community and facing challenges head-on. After years of wondering, I have settled in Huron County and am happy I’ve found a place to call home.

Currently, I'm pursuing a degree in Business Marketing at Fanshawe College, driven by an interest in human behavior. This summer I started working in Economic Development and experienced firsthand how collaboration, planning, and funding make a significant impact on the community. This experience ignited a passion to actively contribute to my community in a bigger capacity.

I firmly believe in leading by example, marked by discipline and dedication. Joining Rural Change Makers, I aim to enhance my leadership skills and exchange ideas on how to make a positive impact on the youth in my community.

I have recently started training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, a practice that fosters self-awareness. When I am not on the mats you can find me spending time in nature with my dogs or curled up on the couch with a good book.
