About Me
Elizabeth Edwards
Economic Development Officer
My name is Elizabeth Edwards and I am a 29-year-old Economic Development Professional from Quinte West, Ontario. I am currently the Economic Development Officer for the City of Quinte West and reside in Port Hope. I graduated from Loyalist College in 2017 and have worked in the public sector for over six years. In that time, I have worked on various different areas of interest including investment attraction, downtown revitalization, and rural development, and I am currently working towards my Economic Developer’s Accreditation. Outside of work I volunteer on the Northumberland Fare Share Foodbank Board of Directors, I am a Unit Leader Assistant for the Sparks (Girl Guides), I am on the Board of Directors for the Ontario East Economic Development Commission, the Port Hope Environmental Advisory Committee, the Loyalist College Business Program PAC, the Bay of Quinte Film Office, and a mentor through the Small Business Centre. In both my personal and professional life, I like to support sustainable community growth and community building.
