About Me
Hayley Olivia Mackay
Hayley was born and raised on a dairy farm in the heart of Oxford County . Over the last 7 years, she has worked for Luckhart Transport as a Livestock Transporter. This job gave Hayley the opportunity to travel and see different agriculture from all over North America. Prior to getting behind the wheel, Hayley worked as a Project Coordinator with Luckhart Transport and it was her determination to have one of her projects succeed that led Hayley into Driving.
In a very male-dominated industry, Hayley has led efforts to better support women transporters as a Spokesperson for the Womens Trucking Federation of Canada. She also played a significant role in advocating for animals and transporters safety by organizing and designing a campaign for the industry to support Bill 156, Security from Trespass and Protecting Food Safety Act.
Hayley has recently accepted a new position with Skill Ontario to be a Program Facilitator. Hayley will be traveling across Ontario with a mobile-classroom with interactive trade demonstrations to teach kids about different trades/tech avenues. Hayley is extremely passionate about sharing her knowledge and is very excited to start this new venture in August.
