I am a current Master's student at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC) working on an applied research project that aims to promote mental health and well-being in OVC employees using Participatory Action Research. I am also employed as a graduate student assistant at the People's Archive of Rural Ontario (PARO), where my role is to mobilize knowledge of everyday rural life, challenges and triumphs through curating multi-media stories by collaborating with rural storytellers. In this role, I also develop & devise strategic communications strategies to promote user engagement with ROI-Connect and am working to develop a digital mapping feature for PARO's website.
