Join us in welcoming the 2023 Change Makers of rural Ontario and discover the next faces of change at our RCM Welcome Session.
An incredible group of emerging leaders have been selected for the 2023 Rural Change Makers Program, representative of the diversity of people, Nations, places, industry, sectors and rural communities that define Ontario. We have an exciting leadership journey ahead on a shared path of discovery, development, respect and reconciliation. It starts with a warm welcome from you!

Ma-Nee Chacaby
Ojibwa-Cree elder from Thunder Bay. Ma-Nee is an artist, activist, Knowledge Keeper with the Assembly of First Nations and author of A Two-Spirit Journey.
Ilona Dougherty
Managing Director of the Youth and Innovation Project at the University of Waterloo. Ilona is an award winning social innovator and renowned speaker who can be seen on Ted Talks.
